The next guide reunion will be July 2nd-4th, 2017. Join us for some voyaguer games, the annual NLCBAA meeting, and walking in the Ely 4th of July parade! Our banquet on July 3rd will also be open to friends and neighbors of the canoe base. See more info below!

Sunday night, July 2nd — S’mores by Moose Lake
Monday, July 3rd – Breakfast, Work Project, Lunch, NLCBAA Business Meeting, Banquet Dinner at Creek Ridge Lodge in Ely.
Tuesday, July 4th –Breakfast, March in July 4th Parade in Ely!, Cookout at Base, Scout’s Own
Wednesday, July 5th — Breakfast and Goodbye
Your registration includes camping at the base, a t-shirt, and meals July 3 through breakfast on July 5, including the banquet. If there is a former guide you’d like to see at the reunion, ask if they’re planning to attend – pass along the registration information!
Canoecopia
Our board members and daring NLCB director, Ann McNally, hosted a booth at Canoecopia again in March 2017. Doris gave her very popular talk and the event was a great way to promote our program.
Midwest Mountaineering
Board member Lindsey Lee supported recruiting at the spring Midwest Mountaineering Expo in April 2017. Thanks Lindsey for the great outreach!
