Membership in the Alumni Association allows you to help support and influence the future of the Northern Lakes Girl Scout Canoe Base. Currently, the NLCBAA is focusing on providing guide housing, recruiting participants, guide retention, and bi-annual guide reunions.
ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP LEVELS AND DUES
Membership in the Northern Lakes Canoe Base Alumni Association involves both a status and a level. Please read below to figure out which combination fits your needs.
Alumni: Previous staff members of the Northern Lakes Canoe Base can enroll as “Alumni.” They have an active voice in pre-voting matters, can vote at annual meetings, and can become board members.
Friend of the Canoe Base: Former GITs, participants, community members, relatives, and others can enroll as “Friends of the Canoe Base.” Friends have an active voice in pre-voting matters and volunteering with the Alumni Association.
In an effort to make membership more financially accessible, we are now offering the Lifetime Membership, payable yearly. Simply sign up for your Lifetime membership by making a $50 deposit today, and you will be invoiced yearly for 5 years until your membership is paid in full. If membership dues are a financial hardship at this time and you are still eager to become a member, please contact us.
